Currently Working on: Website and Stuff
Update: December 12, 2024
Been doing some internal exploration and discovery; thinking about what I want to do for myself and others and what I can do right now. Creating art and crafts to sell is exhausting and overwhelming for me. I love doing it, but I've realized it can't be my main focus. I just end up thinking about ways that I can "optimize" and take shortcuts, but that isn't something that I want to do. I want to work on things gradually before I present them to people. I want to be satisfied with my work, develop my skills and craft, and give my ideas the time they need to fully form. For now, I'll focus on having fun making things and curating items for others.
Update:August 19, 2024 (obselete info)
Working on stuff (mostly bracelets atm) for some fall shows. I'll be applying to DZF again and Art Demo for the first time. I'm nervous, but excited! I've decided to use the eBay store for selling items left over from shows. It takes me a bit of time to recover, so they'll be posted in January or February-- whenever I get around to taking product photos.

Upset at how cute this flower turned out bc weaving in the ends was AWFUL but just look at it 🥺 Pattern is from 20 to Make: Flowers to Knit by Sachiyo Ishii
Update: April 8, 2024
Finished another pattern from the book– I did make some mistakes, but this one turned out pretty good! Still gotta block it and weave in the ends, but i'm happy. Did my first bobbles and cables. Next time i wanna try it using different colors.
Was trying out knitting with lace weight yarn and i really like it! The pattens i used in the images weren't lace patterns, but a couple of designs from Lesley Stanfield's "75 Floral Blocks to Knit". I made some mistakes, but they look better in person than they do in the pictures. I got a lace pattern book from a creative reuse store in my area and started on one of the patterns. It's possible that i gave up too early, but i wasn't liking how it was turning out, so i'm gonna try again after i get some 2mm needles. The smallest i have now is 2.25mm. I'd like to get some smaller lace too, but they're a bit expensive.
I want to learn bobbin lace and filet brodé, too.
I'm even learning crochet so i can make crochet lace... The fine threads and needles have me in their clutches.
