Hello, I'm Az (pronounced like Oz) also known as Rags and Ragadaisy (he/him). I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in December 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art. My major concentration was drawing and I double-minored in French and creative writing. I have many interests--most of them falling into the broad category of anthropology. Art, literature, history, religion, language, psychology, you name it. I'm also interested in astronomy, biology, and earth sciences. Basically the world is big and wonderful and I love everything in it!

In my artistic practice, I explore the forms of plants, animals, patterns, and geometry in my attempts to understand myself and the world around me. In my craft, I am concerned with ordinary objects: the decorative and delightful toys, games, jewelry, accessories, linens, and other household items that fill our lives, these are the expressions of the joy of living and I am honored to take part in these traditions.
